The three buttons that are not obvious

On the first launch the app points these out one at a time. If you skipped that, the whole thing is above.

I paid, and the book is still locked

  1. Open the panel behind the golden key on any locked opening.
  2. Tap Restore purchase.
  3. If nothing happens, check that the device is signed in to the same Apple Account you paid with, then try once more.

The purchase is a one-off unlock tied to your Apple Account, so it works on every iPhone and iPad you use with that account, and survives reinstalling. If it still refuses, write — include the date of purchase and we will sort it out.

Which openings are free

Three, and they are whole: the eye-flower, the bathing pools, and the sun and moon — moving, with every note and hypothesis. The other eighteen show the authentic Yale scan with its title, section and folio. One payment brings all of them alive.

There is no sound

Sound is off until you ask for it: tap the speaker. Each opening carries its own. Also check the silent switch on the side of the phone.

Does it work offline

Entirely. Everything is inside the app — it never touches the network, so it behaves the same in a plane as at home.

Can I change the language

The globe switches between English, 中文, हिन्दी, Español, العربية, Français, Português, Русский, Deutsch and 日本語. All ten are free and available from the first launch, including the page texts. Arabic turns the text panels right to left.

A fact looks wrong to me

Then please write. Every folio has been checked against Yale’s own scan and every claim is attributed, but the manuscript defeats better people than us daily, and a correction is worth more to this app than a compliment.

Refunds

Purchases go through the App Store, so refunds do too: reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue them ourselves — but tell us what went wrong anyway.

Write to us

Bugs, corrections, a page you think belongs in the next batch — all welcome.
